what should i bring with me?
You will need:
Comfortable clothing and shoes.
Patient forms (you can find these in our patient toolbox/patient forms).
If your doctor provided you with a copy of the referral to our office, please bring it along.
A copy of your NV or government issued identification.
Your insurance card and information.
A list of medications you are currently taking.
Any relevant imaging results (MRI, X-ray, CT scan, etc.)
how many times will i have to come?
After your initial visit, we will typically plan on seeing you 2 to 3 times a week. How many times we see you is largely dependant on the severity of your problem. Patients with chronic health problems and pulmonary disease can expect to be in treatment longer. During this time we will formulate a short-term recovery plan as well as a long-term preventative plan to help you get well and stay well.
will i get better?
Yes... you will get better. Some patients will need to continue with home exercises, and some patients may choose to continue with a gym exercise program. Many patients will complete their rehabilitation and return home to do normal daily activities. It is important that you discuss your goals with your therapist.
can i email or call if i have questions?
If you get home and you have any questions about your treatment plan or exercises, please feel free to email us or call us. If we aren’t immediately available, we will get back to you. Staying in touch with our patients and paying attention to the little things is part of how we help you get better.
